Beyrein Weekly Report:Week 2

The second week in Beyrein has been great and action-packed! There has been 3 character deaths, an execution, attacks, and more!

The people of New Brickwood were all taken by surprise as an entity from "the depths" appeared in King Nithin's Castle. This warrior left threatening messages for not just Kibes, but all of Beyrein. He declared war on "everyone". This messenger from the depths came out with a bang by stabbing Lord David of Belwick, in the torso. He was left with non-fatal injuries, but went through a few rough days of recovery.

More strange events have been reported from the Township of Belwick in Kibes. There have been reported voices being heard in the night, warning of an upcoming disaster. Days later, New Brickwood was visited by the strange creature previously stated. Only a couple days later, in the night, the people of Belwick were woken up by mysterious and terrifying loud explosions in the sky.

But a new hope has risen, men calling themselves Prince Favian and Sir Leonardo offered their help to cast out what they call "a demon attack from the void". With a small fee, this curse was lifted and the people of Belwick saved. These new strange heroes have gotten off to a great start.

King Nithin also hosted a feast in honor of what would be King Malren's 63rd birthday. He invited all of Beyrein to this event. The feast was well met-for a bit. All until Fohan Stoneclaw and his men arrived. After only about an hour, panic broke out at the feast. Fohan left the dining hall for a moment, to re-enter and find his general, Sir Cornell Westwood, holding Zoe hostage! Moments later, Lord David grabbed one of Fohan's men, Damon; who happens to be Cornell's best friend. After a few minutes of taunting and threatening, in a standoff stale mate, Cornell and company escaped with Zoe. Lord David, enraged, killed Damon and charged after them, attempting to save Zoe. But he was stopped by King Nithin and his men, telling him that she would be killed if they went after her. After a couple days in captivity, King Nithin managed to sneak inside the Moggath Citadel and free Zoe. But they were found while leaving, the King was attacked and injured badly. Zoe was then put back in her holding cell. Surprisingly, Fohan was found to never order her kidnapping and was against the action, but he decided that there was nothing he could do, and accepted it. Moggath demanded a hefty ransom of 1,000 mirsas to Kibes for Zoe's safe release from the Citadel. Before Kibes could respond, Lord David approached Fohan with a proposition. He would turn himself in, offering to replace King Nithin and Zoe in prison. Fohan, knowing that David killed his men, accepted and set The King and Zoe free. A few days later, the night before what would have been his execution day, David was mysteriously broken out of prison by an unknown rescuer, likely the people he replaced in prison.
